Hiperlipidemi Tedavisinde Hastaların Kullanıldıkları Fitoterapi Yöntemleri

Abstract

Giriş ve Amaç: Çalışmamız, hiperlipidemi hastalarının tercih ettikleri ilaç ve bitkisel tedavi yöntemleri ile bu yöntemlere bakışlarının değerlendirilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem ve Gereçler: Çalışmamıza, Aile Sağlığı Merkezi'ne başvuran ve hiperlipidemi tanısı almış 389 hasta dahil edildi. Bunlardan 192 %49 hasta düzenli olarak ilaç tedavisi almakta, 197 %51 hasta ilaç tedavisi yerine bitkisel tedavi kullanmakta idi. Hastalara, tedavi tercihlerini öğrenmek amacıyla hazırlanan ve demografik bilgiler de içeren anket uygulandı. Anketler 6 ay ara ile ölçülmüş LDL düzeyleri ile birlikte değerlendirildi. İstatistiksel analiz için SPSS 15.0 paket programı kullanıldı. Bulgular: İlaç dışı tedavi yöntemlerini sorguladığımızda, en sık tercih edilen yiyecek ceviz 42 %21,3 , ardından da 26 %13,2 limon gelmekte idi. Hiperlipidemi süresi 0-1 yıl arasında olan bireylerin ilaç dışı yöntem kullanım oranı, daha uzun süreli hiperlipidemi tanısı olan bireylerden daha yüksek bulunmuştur p

Phytotherapy methods of the patients in the treatment of hyperlipidemia

Abstract

Introduction: Our study was made in order to evaluate the drug and herbal treatment methods preferred by hyperlipidemia patients and their views on these methods. Methods: In our study, 389 patients who admitted to the Family Health Centers and had hyperlipidemia diagnosis were included. Of these, 192 patients 49% were regularly having medicine treatment and 197 patients 51% were using herbal treatment instead of medicine treatment. A questionnaire also including demographical information prepared to learn about treatment preference of patients was applied. Questionnaires were evaluated with LDL levels measured in 6 month intervals. SPSS 15.0 software package was used for statistical analysis. Results: When we questioned non-medicine treatment methods, the most preferred food was walnut in 42 patients 21.3% and then lemon in 26 patients 13.2% .
