Akne Vulgarisli Gebelerde A Vitamini Düzeyi ve Vücut Kitle İndeksinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Giriş: Gebelerde değişen şiddetlerde akne vulgaris kliniği görülebilmektedir. Bu çalışmamanın amacı; A vitamini seviyesi ve vücut kitle indeksi (VKI)’nin gebelerde akne oluşumu üzerine etkisi olup olmadığını araştırmaktır.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmaya gebeliğin ikinci trimesterinde bulunan aknesi olan 40 kadın ve aknesi olmayan 38 kadın dahil edilmiştir. Akne tanısı “Global Akne Derecelendirme Sistemi (GADS)” ‘ne göre yapılmıştır. Serum vitamin A düzeyine Elabscience (USA) marka ELISA kiti ile bakılmıştır. İstatistiksel analizlerde anlamlılık p<0,05 olarak kabul edilmiştir.
Bulgular: Grupların yaş ortalaması, gravida, gebelik sayısı, açlık kan şekeri, hemoglobin düzeyleri benzer olarak bulunmuştur. Akneli grupta tüm katılımcılar hafif ve orta şiddette akne tanısı almıştır. Aknesi olan gebe grubunda A vitamini düzeyi (94,41±16,47 ) kontrol grubuna (101,37±12,75) göre daha düşük olarak tespit edilmiştir (p=0,002). VKI akne vulgarisli gebe grubunda daha yüksek bulunmuştur (p=0,000). VKI ile vitamin A düzeyi arasında negatif yönde düşük düzeyde doğrusal ilişki saptanmıştır (r= -0,273; p=0,017).
Sonuç: Gebelerde akne oluşumunda vitamin A eksikliğinin ve VKI yüksekliğinin rolü olabileceği düşünülmektedir. VKI yüksekliğinin; doğrudan ya da A vitamini düşüklüğüne sebep olarak akne vulgaris gelişimine sebep olabileceği kanaatine
