The Archival World is a international academic and peer-reviewed journal which is published electronically and half-yearly (June-December) by the Turkish Archivists Association. The journal grounds on open-access approach and never charges for scientific articles and other various texts which will be published. The studies are first examined in detail by the Editorial Board and the publications pass this stage and if they have scientific quality are reviewed scientifically by the Board of Referee. The authors are directly responsible for their opinions, thoughts and suggestions in their publications. The Journal holds and accepts theoretical and applied interdisciplinary studies such as in Archiving, Librarianship, Records Management, Information Management, Electronic Records Management, Historical Archives, Cultural History, Diplomatics, Museology. In The Journal, studies are published on peer-reviewed articles, review studies, book promotion and evaluation, and news headlines. At the stage of scientific publication evaluation, plagiarism control is carried out primarily through similarity programs. Studies with similarity score above 20% are not accepted for publication. In addition, DOI numbers are given to published articles.
The Journal is indexed in CiteFactor, Eurasian Scientific Journal Index (ESJI), CrossRef, Index Copernicus (IC), ResearchBib, Asos Index, Google Scholar ve İdealonline.
