Abstract

Elektronik
ortamda uzun süre korunmasında öncelik gerektiren kültür kaynakları genel
olarak arşivlerde, kütüphanelerde, müzelerde ve araştırma merkezlerinde yer
alan tarihi belgeler, yazmalar, kitaplar, efemeral dokümanlar, görsel ve
işitsel malzemeler, geçmişe ait bilgi veren elektronik ortamdaki her türlü
içerikten oluşmaktadır.

Dijital
kültürel miras kapsamında içeriğe erişim, içeriğin korunması ve güvenliğinde
temel rol, belgeyi tüm yönleriyle tanımlayan üstveri elemanlarıdır. Bu
çerçevede çalışmada dünyada ve ülkemizde kültür kaynaklarının elektronik
ortamda tanımlanmasına yönelik üstveri elemanlarının kullanım koşulları
karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmekte, sorunlar tartışılmakta ve çözüm önerileri
sunulmaktadır.
