Abstract
Koronavirüs hastalığı (COVID-19) 2019 yılında ilk olarak Çin'in Wuhan kentinde görülmüş, ardından Dünya Sağlık Örgütü (WHO) tarafından, yüksek ölüm oranlarıyla, pandemi olarak ilan edilmiştir. Bunun ardından tüm Dünya’da ve ülkemizde başta sağlık çalışanları olmak üzere risk altındaki bireylerin korunmasıyla ilgili olarak hızla birçok kaynaktan çeşitli bilgiler paylaşılmaya başlanılmıştır. COVID-19 pandemisi teorik eğitimler, preklinik laboratuvar çalışmaları ve klinik staj aşamalarının ön planda olduğu diş hekimliği eğitimini önemli oranda etkilemiştir. Eğitimlerin kalabalık ortamlarda gerçekleştirilmesi nedeniyle enfeksiyon riskinin azaltılması için pratik eğitimlere ara verilmiştir. Tüm dünyada uzaktan eğitime geçilmesi ile birlikte tüm eğitim kurumlarında olduğu gibi diş hekimliğinde de eğiticiler hem eğitim programlarını hem de ölçme değerlendirme sistemlerini güncellemişlerdir. Bu derlemede COVID-19 pandemisi sürecinde diş hekimliği eğitimindeki değişen uygulamalar güncel literatür bilgileri eşliğinde sunulmuştur.
