Abstract
Port kateter yerleştirilmesi, onkoloji hastalarında uzun dönem tedavide kullanılan bir girişimdir. Ancak girişim sonrası birçok komplikasyon meydana gelebilmektedir. Hastanın şikayeti mevcut ise kateter lokalizasyonu ve buna bağlı oluşabilecek komplikasyonlar belli aralıklarla kontrol edilmelidir. En nadir görülen komplikasyonlardan birisi de kateterin yer değiştirmesidir. Bizim olgumuzda, subklavian venden başarılı bir şekilde takılan ve yeri teyit edilen port kateterin internal juguler vene yer değiştirmesi sonrasında oluşan trombüse bağlı boyunda şişlik ve ağrı yakınmasıyla başvuran olgunun yönetimi literatür ile karşılaştırmalı sunulmuştur.
