Abstract
Being a fairly new field in International Relations, emotions began to be studied beginning from the early 2000s. This “emotional turn” in the discipline aimed to establish a more interdisciplinary approach, separating it from mainstream theories. Based on the recent interest in emotions, especially in the Turkish literature, Assoc. Prof. Erdem Özluk has made a significant contribution to the discipline by penning the first Turkish book in the field in 2016. In this review of the book, Özluk's book "An Emotional Outlook on International Relations" was examined.
