Numerous commentaries have been written on the Qur'an, which is the main source of Islam, according to time, place and the situation and needs of people, and still continue to be written. Some of the commentators who took this sacred work on their shoulders and who were influential and directing in this field were educated in the Transoxiana region. In this region between Amudarya (Jeihun) and Sırdarya (Seihun), translations and commentaries have been translated and copyrighted in Persian and Turkish languages spoken by the inhabitants, apart from Arabic commentaries. If we do not take into account the activities outside the region, there is a pause in the studies of the Qur'an in the Soviet period. After independence, we can say that translation and commentary studies have been revived in Uzbekistan. In this study, the Uzbek translations and commentaries of the Qur'an after independence will be introduced. In this context, eight Uzbek translations and seven full and partial commentaries are introduced. In the research, the classification, presentation and general evaluations of the literature will be made. Their method and content aspects will be briefly pointed out. As a preparation for the subject, the studies in this field before independence will be examined. In addition, their ability to guide and direct the studies to be carried out in this field will be evaluated.
