Ekonometri Lisansüstü Öğrencilerinin Başarılarını Etkileyen Yeterliliklerin Değerlendirilmesi: ABO Karar Destek Sistemi

Abstract

Günümüzde üniversite mezunları lisansüstü programları ile eğitim hayatlarını sürdürerek kariyer hedeflerine ulaşmaya çalışmaktadır. Lisansüstü programlarında başarılı olmaya dair yeterliliklerin belirlenmesi ve değerlendirilmesi, hem öğrencilerin hem de programın başarısı için önemli bir konudur. Çalışmada yer verilen ve üzerinde inceleme yapılan Ekonometri lisansüstü programı öğrenci başarı yeterlilikleri değerlendirilmesinde Bulanık DEMATEL yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada, Bulanık DEMATEL metodunu kullanmak isteyen araştırmacılar için ücretsiz ve kolay kullanılan bir paket program olmaması ve bu yüzden metodu kullanan çoğu araştırmacının hesaplama esnasında yaşadıkları sıkıntıları göz önüne alarak yeni bir paket program hazırlanmıştır. Python programlama dili kullanılarak ve Windows İşletim Sisteminde çalışacak şekilde, Bulanık DEMATEL ve DEMATEL için hazırlanmış olan ABO karar destek sistemi, çalışmadaki örnekle birlikte tanıtılmıştır. Yöntem sonuçlarının değerlendirilmesi ile öğrencilerin lisansüstüne başlamadan geliştirmesi gereken yönleri tespit edilmiş ve lisansüstü aday değerlendirilmesinde faydalanılacak önemli çıktılar elde edilmiştir. ABO karar destek sistemi ile elde edilen grafik sonuçları faydalı çıkarımlar sağlamıştır.

Evaluation Of The Competencies That Affect The Achievements Of The Econometrics Graduate Students: ABO Decision Support System

Abstract

Nowadays, most of the graduate students are trying to reach their carrier goals by continuing their education life with postgraduate programs. Determining and evaluating competencies to be successful in the postgraduate programs is an important issue for the success of both students and the program. Fuzzy DEMATEL method was used in evaluation of student achievement competencies of Econometrics postgraduate program which was included in the study. In the study, for the researchers who want to use the Fuzzy DEMATEL method, a new package program has been prepared by considering the lack of a free and easy-to-use package program and therefore the calculation problems experienced by most researchers using the method. Using the Python programming language and working in the Windows Operating System, the ABO decision support system for Fuzzy DEMATEL and DEMATEL was introduced with the example in the study. By evaluating the results of the method, it was determined the most important competencies that the students need to develop before starting to the program graduate, and important outputs were obtained to be utilized in the evaluation of the graduate candidates. The graphical results obtained with the ABO decision support system provided useful inferences.
