Abstract
Koruma, diş
hekimliğinde ‘minimum müdahele’ konseptinin temelidir. Bu konsept diş çürüğünü
önlemeyi, mümkünse durdurmayı ve risk faktörlerini değiştirerek tekrarlamasını
önlemeye çalışmayı içerir. Derlememizde, bu bağlamda diş hekimliğindeki
koruyucu yaklaşımlar mevcut literatür ışığında tartışılmıştır.

Abstract
Prevention is the basis of ‘minimal
intervention’ concept in dentistry. This concept involves preventing from and
intercepting dental caries where possible and trying to avoid relapses by
modifying the risk factors. In this connection, the preventive approach in
dentistry is discussed in our review within the light of current literature.
