Abstract

Abstract
In this bryosociological study, which was conducted for the first time in the Eastern Anatolia Region and university campus areas, the epiphytic bryophyte vegetation of Ulmus minor trees in the Fırat University Central Campus was investigated. As a result of the evaluation of relevés, taken from tree trunks in different vegetation seasons of 2021 by the classical Braun-Blanquet method; Orthotrichetum pumili was determined as second record from Turkey. In addition, 3 of the identified bryophyte taxa within the relevés are new for B9 square and Elazığ province. The syntaxon was analyzed in terms of ecological and floristic aspects.
