Abstract
Çoğunlukla ticari içerikli olan Kültepe metinlerinde çocukların bakımı ve yetiştirilmesiyle ilgili kısmi bilgiler de bulunmaktadır. Bu metinlerdeki geçişler, söz konusu dönemde çocuk bakıcısı ve sütannelik gibi kadın mesleklerinin var olduğunu göstermektedir. Burada yayınladığımız iki metin ēmiqtum “bakıcı, ev hizmetçisi” ile ilgilidir ve kelime ile ilgili yeni değerlendirmeler yapmayı sağlayan bilgiler içermektedir. Bu çalışmada çocuk bakımıyla ve yetiştirilmesiyle alakalı kelimeler incelenerek genel bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır
