ORUÇ TUTAN VE TUTMAYAN ANTRENMANLI SPORCULARDA DÜZENLİ EGZERSİZİN VÜCUT KOMPOZİSYONUNA ETKİLERİ FARKLI MIDIR?

Abstract
Birçok sporcu
ramazan ayında gündüz antrenmanı yapmak durumundadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı oruç
tutan ve tutmayan antrenmanlı sporcularda ramazan ayı boyunca yapılan düzenli
egzersizlerin vücut kompozisyonuna etkilerini incelemektir. Araştırmaya aynı
kulüpte kamp ortamında kalan erkek güreşçilerden, oruç tutmayı tercih eden 12
kişi ve oruç tutmayan 11 kişi gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Katılımcılar ramazan
ayı boyunca haftada beş gün olmak üzere toplam 20 antrenman
gerçekleştirmişlerdir. Katılımcılar bu süre boyunca submaksimal kuvvet ve
teknik antrenmanlarını ardışık olmayacak şekilde uygulamışlardır. Antrenmanlar
17:00-19:00 saatleri arasında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Katılımcıların vücut
kompozisyonu ölçümleri ramazan ayından hemen önce ve ramazan ayının sonunda gerçekleştirilmiştir.
Katılımcıların ön test ve son test arasındaki değişimleri SPSS programı ile
eşli örneklem t-testi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın bulgularına
göre oruç tutmayan grupta vücut ağırlığı, vücut kütle indeksi ve vücut yağ
yüzdesinde anlamlı değişim olmamıştır. Oruç tutan grupta ise vücut ağırlığı ve
vücut kütle indeksinde anlamlı değişim bulunmazken, vücut yağ yüzdesinde
anlamlı bir düşüş olduğu bulunmuştur. Sonuç olarak oruç tutan grupta, vücut
ağırlığı değişmeden yağ yüzdesinin anlamlı derecede düşmesinden dolayı, oruç
tutarken yapılan düzenli egzersizin vücuttaki yağ miktarını azaltmada daha
etkili olabileceği düşünülmektedir.
