Abstract

Entrepreneurship and transformational leadership ideas have recently been increasingly popular. The importance of the entrepreneurship is because of the economic improvement in developing countries and the base of dynamism in developed countries. Likewise, transformational leadership is a modern issue since it gives a unique value, the biggest element in success, to human being, and possesses contemporary components. These peculiarities can surely increase the success level of the entrepreneurship activities. This study aimed at searching the two subjects together. First, entrepreneurship and transformational leadership were explained in detail. Then, they were applied to automotive sector. Upon the application results, positive correlations were determined between the entrepreneurship and transforming leadership ideas.

GİRİŞİMCİLİK SÜRECİNDE DÖNÜŞTÜRÜCÜ LİDERLİK ANLAYIŞI: OTOMOTİV SEKTÖRÜNDE BİR UYGULAMA

Abstract

Girişimcilik ve dönüştürücü liderlik anlayışı günümüzde önemi
her geçen gün artan konular arasındadır. Girişimciliğin önemi gelişmekte olan
ülkelerde kalkınmanın, gelişmiş ülkelerde ise dinamizmin temeli olmasından
kaynaklanmaktadır. Dönüştürücü liderlik anlayışı ise başarılı olmada en büyük
unsur olan insana farklı bir şekilde değer vermesiyle ve günümüze uygun
özellikleri olan bir anlayış olması sebebiyle önem arz etmektedir. Dönüştürücü
liderlik anlayışında bulunan bu özellikler girişimcilik faaliyetinin başarısını
daha da arttırılabilir. Bu düşünceler doğrultusunda bu iki konu birlikte ele
alınarak araştırma konusu yapılmıştır. Araştırmada ilkin girişimcilik ve
dönüştürücü liderlik anlayışı açıklanmış ve daha sonra otomotiv sektöründe bir
uygulama yapılmıştır. Uygulama sonucunda girişimcilik anlayışıyla
dönüştürücü liderlik anlayışı arasında pozitif ilişkilerin olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
