Because of the intense competition of spore competition in today's world and the increasing focus of outcome-oriented thinking, the peaceful and integrative function of sport is forgotten, and polarizing behaviours are often exhibited by different stakeholders. It is possible to say that one of the most important elements injected from the outside is the 'hatred' that creates a 'ground for violence', especially in the football world, which has become difficult to maintain its peaceful and respectful understanding of Olympic philosophy. Apart from field events and grandstand clashes; Through newspapers, magazines, television and social media, the parties can express the tensions in the form of hate. In this study, the relationship between hate articles and articles published in newspapers, one of the main elements of sports media, is examined. To this end, the authors of the sports newspapers have been writing articles that they received before and after the sporting events. The data obtained through the document examination were analysed and interpreted by content analysis and discourse analysis. As a result, it has been determined that in the sports media, a significant part of the discourse of loyal columnists is frequently used for violence and hateful metaphors, as well as elements that can provide grounds for hatred such as blame, humiliation, mockery, ignorance and ignorance.
