Abstract
In the global world, where the effects of information technologies are seen in every field, it has become inevitable for the accounting information system to follow technological innovations both in terms of education and in terms of sectoral application. The traditional accounting teaching, in which the teacher is the main factor, has now reached a more modern, attractive and contemporary level with the use of technological equipment and materials. In this direction, the aim of the study is to determine the current technology use level of the students who receive accounting education at the undergraduate level and to determine the students' views on technology use. The universe of the study consists of students studying at Faculty of Applied Sciences, Kırklareli University and taking accounting courses. The data used in the study were collected by the researchers with a questionnaire created by scanning the relevant literature, and the data obtained from these questionnaires were analyzed with the SPSS 20 program and the results were evaluated. The most important issue in the students' views on the use of technology in accounting courses was seen as "the faculty members giving accounting courses should follow new technologies related to education". In addition, it was observed that the use of technology while preparing for "Accounting courses" and "Exams related to accounting courses" was effective on students' attitudes towards technology use in accounting courses (p < 0.05).
