body satisfaction levels of university students. The data of the study were
collected from 369 (N = 220 female, N = 149 male) students who studied at
various departments of Uşak University in 2017-2018 academic year. The research
was conducted in accordance with the relational screening model. The “Well-
Being Scale" was used to determine well-being state of the students, the
"Body satisfaction Scale" was used to determine their body
satisfaction state, and the "Conscious Awareness Scale" was used to
determine their level of Conscious awareness . Data were tested at .05 and .01
significance level. Data were analyzed by using t-test, correlation and
multiple regression method by using SPSS 20.0 program. The results of the study
showed that body satisfaction did not differ according to gender and the
well-being was higher in female students, whereas the conscious awareness was
higher in male students. In addition, there was a weak positive relationship
between the Conscious awareness and the well-being and body satisfaction.
Findings revealed that body satisfaction and well-being predict the conscious
awareness at statistically significant level. The findings of the present study
were discussed in the light of the literature and some suggestions were made.
