Bariatrik Cerrahide Tıbbi Beslenme Tedavisi

Abstract

Bariatrik cerrahi, obezite tedavisi için geliştirilen bir tedavi yöntemidir. Bariatrik cerrahinin ağırlık kaybında cerrahi olmayan müdahalelerden üstün olduğu gösterildiği için şişmanlığı hedef alan cerrahi müdahalelerde bir artış görülmekte ve yaşam tarzı değişikliği ile vücut ağırlığı kaybının yetersiz olduğu durumlarda obezite ve buna eşlik eden komorbidite durumlarında günümüzde çoğunlukla bariatrik cerrahi yöntemi tercih edilmektedir. Bununla birlikte, çok çeşitli komplikasyon riskleri bulunan bariatrik cerrahinin uygulanması, hastanın yaşayacağı avantaj ve dezavantajlara bağlı olarak multidisipliner bir ekip tarafından kararlaştırılmalıdır. Mevcut bir operasyon durumunda ise karşılaşılabilecek komplikasyonların minimize edilmesi ve vücut ağırlığı kaybının korunabilmesi için tıbbi beslenme tedavisinin planlanması konusunda büyük bir titizlik gösterilmelidir. Bireysel olarak planlanacak diyet tedavisinde hastaların operasyon sonrası hem ihtiyaçları karşılanmalı hem de tolerasyonlarına göre uygun diyetin uygulanması sağlanmalıdır.
