Sakrokoksigeal Teratom: Yenidoğan Olgu Sunumu

Abstract

Sakrokoksigeal teratomlar yenidoğan döneminde en sık karşılaşılan teratomlardır. Sakrokoksigeal teratomlar sıklıkla doğumda tanı almakla beraber özellikle tip 1 ve 2 olanlar antenatal ultrasonografi takiplerinde fark edilebilmektedirler. Tedavi uygun cerrahi rezeksiyon ile sağlanmaktadır. Operasyon sonrası takip çocuk onkoloji birimi ile birlikte yapılmalıdır. Bu yazıda 22. Gebelik haftasında rutin ultrasonografi muayenesinde fark edilen sakrokoksigeal teratomu olan ve 34 hafta 1 günlük iken fetal distres sebebiyle acil sezaryen ile doğumu gerçekleştirilen bir yenidoğan vakası sunulmuştur.

Sacrococcygeal Teratoma: A Neonatal Case Report

Abstract

Sacrococcygeal teratomas are the most common teratomas encountered in the neonatal period. Although sacrococcygeal teratomas are frequently diagnosed at birth, especially types 1 and 2 can be noticed during antenatal ultrasonography follow-ups. Treatment is provided by appropriate surgical resection. Post-operative follow-up should be done with the pediatric oncology unit. In this article, a newborn case with sacrococcygeal teratoma detected in routine ultrasonography examination at 22 weeks of gestation and who was delivered by emergency cesarean section at 34 weeks and 1 day of gestation due to fetal distress is presented.
