The goal of raising morally good people is a phenomenon that sustains its existence in every society. The future of society is only possible by the presence of people with robust and superior character. Accordingly, the socialization of young people may be achieved with the reference set by socio-religious values. This can only be done through formal or informal education in family, educational institutions and in other social institutions that cause behavioral change. Here, the issue of bringing moral character to new generations is examined theoretically within the framework of the family and school, which are the factors that affect the socialization process. Family is the first social circle of the individual. Therefore, family is an important factor in socialization of childhood. Since education is a planned activity, socialization, which means the process of learning social roles and expectations, has more effective on the individual. The aim of education should be the development and glorification of moral character along with academic success. If the family and school adopt academic achievement as the only criterion in education, selfish and one-dimensional personalities will grow. This personality type is against the nature of human and society. In this regard, it is imperative that the most basic aspect of education be focused on moral character.
