This study implicates the determination of the liquefaction phenomenon for the Court building area using SPT (Standard Penetration Test) field data under the effect of the expected earthquake in Yozgat region. For this purpose, four data of SPT were assessed. Ezine Pazarı Fault has a length of 135 km and approximately passes through in a distance of 42 km in the North of Şefaatli District. It was considered to affect the study area and create the effective peak horizontal acceleration due to earthquake. For the future earthquake, it was calculated the moment magnitude as MW=6.2, supposing that Ezine Pazarı Fault could be cracked 1/3 of the total length.
Using local attenuation relationships, developed for Turkey, a peak ground acceleration of 0.2g was found for the study site. According to the these parameters, the liquefaction analysis was carried out using the SPT data and four locations were determined as highly liquefiable site. Following this phase, Jet grouting clomn was proposed to prevent the liquifaction for this study area.
