Abstract
In this study, pushover analysis was carried out by ASCE 41-17 and TBDY 2018 having default plastic hinge properties and considering the plastic hinge properties and damage limits of the nonlinear elements calculated by the user, respectively. In this study, four-span, 3, 5, and 7-storey shear wall-framed building is considered and the results of the analysis are compared. The effective parameters of plastic hinge properties of reinforced concrete elements are plastic hinge length and transverse reinforcement spacing. In this study, BKTS-1, 2 and 3 reinforced concrete buildings were analyzed with ETABS 19-0.2 program by pushover analysis methods. As a result of the analysis carried out, capacity curves were obtained according to two different standards. As a result of the capacity curves obtained according to TBDY 2018, the amount of base shear and peak displacement obtained at performance points were obtained more than ASCE 41-17. The factors affecting the results obtained according to two different standards are the amount of vertical load, the effective stiffness of the reinforced concrete elements and the plastic hinges properties.
