Abstract
In today's competitive environment, companies are trying to keep up with the changing world and grow. Having a qualified workforce starts with the training of the most suitable personnel for the relevant position. In this context, companies have to fill their vacant positions with the most suitable and successful candidates as soon as possible. In this study, selection was made for 4 personnel who applied for a vacant position in a company. The candidates were evaluated using the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method, which is one of the multi-criteria decision-making techniques. While making the evaluation, 5 criteria that the company attaches importance for this position were also taken into consideration. According to the results, the candidates were ranked and it was determined which candidate was more suitable for the company's requests. As shown in this study, the AHP method offers companies the opportunity to evaluate the incoming candidate applications quickly and in the most appropriate way for the vacant position.
