Japoncayı Diğer Dillerden Ayıran Bir Özellik: Yakuwarigo -Türk Japonca Öğrenicileri Üzerine Bir İnceleme-

Abstract

Yakuwarigo, konuşurun yaşı, sosyal statüsü, cinsiyeti gibi karakter özelliklerinin karşı tarafa rahatça aktarılabilmesini sağlayan dil kullanımlarıdır. Bu çalışmada, Türkçede Japoncaya kıyasla çeşitliliği oldukça az olan yakuwarigo özelliğinin Japonca kültürel öğeler yoluyla öğrenilip öğrenilemediğinin belirlenmesi, ayrıca iki dil seviyesi (“temel-orta” ve “orta-ileri”) arasında fark görülüp görülmediğinin ortaya koyulması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklem grubu Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi Japonca Öğretmenliği programında eğitim gören 1. ve 4. sınıf öğrencilerinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği (anket) uygulanmıştır. Veri toplama amacıyla alıştırma kağıtları kullanılmış olup, Japonca örnek cümlelerin nasıl bir insan profili canlandırdığı tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. İkinci olarak, 5 farklı karakter görseli verilmiş, cümlelere uygun karakterin eşleştirilmesi istenmiştir. Ek olarak, Japon popüler kültür öğelerinin yakuwarigo bilgisi ile ilişkisinin tespiti için Japonca bu öğelerin/eserlerin takibini yapıp yapmadıkları, yapıyorlarsa ne sıklıkla okudukları/izlediklerine dair sorular soru kağıdına eklenmiştir. Bu çalışmanın sonucunda, Japon dilindeki kültürel öğelerle 1. sınıflara kıyasla yüksek oranda ilgilenen 4. sınıf öğrencilerinin yanıtlarında çeşitli ve doğru imajların olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

A Distinguishing Feature of Japanese: Yakuwarigo -A Study on Turkish Japanese Learners-

Abstract

Yakuwarigo is the use of language that allows the speaker's characteristics such as age, social status, and gender to be easily conveyed to the other party. In this study, it is aimed to determine whether the yakuwarigo, which has much less diversity in Turkish compared to Japanese, can be learned through Japanese cultural elements, and to reveal whether there is a difference between language levels ("basic-intermediate" and "intermediate-advanced"). The sample group of the research consists of 1st and 4th grade students studying in the JLT program at COMU. Structured interview technique (survey), one of the qualitative research methods was applied. It was tried to determine what kind of human profile the Japanese sample sentences portray. Secondly, 5 different character images were given, and they were asked to match the appropriate character to the sentences. Additionally, to determine the relationship between J-pop culture items and yakuwarigo knowledge, questions about whether they follow these items/works in Japanese and, if so, how often they read/watch them were added to the questionnaire. It was concluded that there were various and accurate images in the responses of 4th grade students who were more interested in cultural elements in the Japanese language compared to 1st graders.
