Abstract
In this study, it is aimed to determine the important factors affecting the performance of human resources departments to increase the efficiency of financial institutions. In this framework, an examination was carried out by considering the fuzzy DEMATEL method. Considering the balanced scorecard approach, Thor Model, Fitzgerald model and extensive literature review, a new set of criteria that can affect performance has been proposed. As a result, investing in new technology was determined as the criterion with the highest importance. Similarly, the provision of training on new technology and the adequacy of the equipment and infrastructure used are other factors of high importance. In this context, financial institutions need to focus on new technology to increase their efficiency. With the new programs to be used, data on personnel will be analyzed more comprehensively. In addition, the personnel working in financial institutions should be familiar with this new technology. In this context, financial institutions should pay attention to this issue while employing personnel. Therefore, personnel with strong analytical skills should be preferred. In this context, considering candidates who graduated from engineering and mathematics departments of universities will contribute to this process. It will also be possible to increase the efficiency of financial institutions with more successful human resources.
