Abstract
The aim of this study is to systematically analyze the studies on financial performance, which is one of the performance measurement tools in hospitals, according to the science mapping technique. For this purpose, Web of Science, Scopus, and Pubmed databases were searched. In addition, using VOSviewer, CiteSpace, and Carrot Search software, results were clustered on the basis of authors, institutions, countries, and journals through a more in-depth bibliometric study. As a result of the research, it is seen that the country that contributed the most to this field was the USA, and that contributed the most is Goes and Zhan with 63 citations. In addition, the most preferred keywords in this field are "financial performance" in CiteSpace analysis; "financial performance" in VOSviewer analysis and "improvement" in Carrot Analysis. This study is a guide for researchers who are interested in the field of financial performance in hospital businesses. In addition, since a comprehensive search strategy is used, it differs from similar studies in this aspect.
