GASTROESOPHAGEAL REFLUX AND MIDWIFERY CARE IN PREGNANCY

Abstract

Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease is defined as a bitter or sour water’s and meals caming to the wanth which is rishg as aburning in behing of the breast as a result of escaping the stomach ingredie is especially ascites. Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, heartburn and defisciency symptoms are generally % 30-50 percent during pregnancy. In pregnant women Gastroesophageal Reflux Diseases definite mechanism is generally controversial, however in lower esophageal sphincter pressure reduction see as a basic mechanism, and it’s explained by the increase in sex hormones. It’s reported that only %20-25 of the pregnant women who define reflux during pregnancy suffer from reflux
Pregnant women’s, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease can be treated by changing the nutrition and lifestyle. This review, it written to emphasize improving of awareness about the importance of counseling of midwives in the treatment of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease.

GEBELİKTE GASTROÖZOFAGEAL REFLÜ VE EBELİK BAKIMI

Abstract

Gastroözofageal Reflü Hastalığı, asit başta olmak üzere mide içeriğinin yemek borusuna kaçması sonucu, göğüs kemiği arkasında yukarı yükselen yanma ve/veya ağza acı-ekşi su, yemeklerin gelmesi olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Gastroözofageal Reflü Hastalığı, mide ekşimesi ve yetersizlik belirtileri gebelikte %30-50 sıklıkta görülmektedir. Gebelerde Gastroözofageal Reflü Hastalığının kesin mekanizması tartışmalı olmakla beraber, düşük özefagus sfinkter basıncındaki azalma temel mekanizma olarak öne sürülmüş, bu da özellikle seks hormonlarının artışıyla açıklanmıştır. Gebelikte reflü tanımlayan gebelerin ancak %20-25’inin gebelik öncesinde reflü şikayeti olduğu bildirilmiştir. Gebelerin Gastroözofageal Reflü Hastalığı tedavisinde çoğunun beslenme şekli ve yaşam tarzı değiştirilerek tedavi edilebilmektedir. Bu derlemede Gastroözofageal Reflü Hastalığı tedavisinde ebelerin vereceği danışmanlıkta gebelerin yaşam kalitesini iyileştirmenin önemli bir yere sahip olduğunu ve bu konuda farkındalıklarının geliştirilmesi oldukça önemli olduğunu vurgulamak amacıyla yazılmıştır.
