This study aimed to define the views of primary school teachers about information technology usage levels and the use of web 2.0 applications in education. In the research, descriptive sequential pattern was used which is one of the mixed research method designs. In the research, data were analyzed by percentage, frequency, Independent Groups t test, One Way Variance Analysis, Tukey test and descriptive analysis method. The results of the research shown that the use level information technology of the primary school teachers differ significantly according to the variables of gender, age, seniority, computer usage levels and internet usage times. It was detected that primary school teachers the most commonly use instant messaging applications from Web 2.0 tools for education. It was observed that the primary teachers not having enough knowledge about Web 2.0 applications as a concept.
