Justice, Inclusiveness and Fair Equality of Opportunity in Education

Abstract

Inclusiveness is an important concept in the discussions concerning social justice. The idea of an inclusive society has a central place in these discussions. An inclusive education without excluding anyone based on phsical feautes, gender or any other reasons is considered a powerful instrument in achieving an inclusive society. In this study, the concepts of inclusiveness and inclusive education are examined based on the theory of justice as fairness and capabilities approach. Then the study provides a discussion on the idea of fair equality of opportunity in education

Adalet, Kapsayıcılık ve Eğitimde Hakkaniyetli Fırsat Eşitliği

Abstract

Kapsayıcılık kavramı toplumsal adalet tartışmalarında önemli bir yere sahiptir. Kapsayıcı bir toplum oluşturma hedefi bu tartışmaların merkezi konuları arasındadır. Bu doğrultuda bedensel özellikler, cinsiyet ya da herhangi başka bir nedene dayanmaksızın herkesi kapsayıcı bir eğitim anlayışı, kapsayıcı toplum oluşturma hedefinin önemli bir unsuru olarak görülür. Bu ideal bağlamında, bu çalışma öncelikle çağdaş siyaset felsefesinde son derece etkili olan hakkaniyet olarak adalet teorisi ve kabiliyetler yaklaşımı çerçevesinde kapsayıcılık ve kapsayıcı eğitim kavramlarını inceliyor. Ardından, yine bu çerçevede eğitimde hakkaniyetli fırsat eşitliği düşüncesi üzerine bir tartışma sunuyor
