COMPANION SPECIES OF HARAWAY AND NETWEAVING NARRATIVES

Year 2018, Volume: 13 Issue: 26, 27 - 46, 29.12.2018

Abstract

It is important to make the coming which is not yet obvious,
understandable and expressible. In particular, the first expressions,
determinations, limitations, in summary, the first communicative moves that
disrupting silence, are even more important. So this study is based on
questioning the coming according to Donna Haraway’s approach, in a world
surrounded by technology at macro and micro level. In this regard, the study is
based mainly on the Manifesto for Cyborgs, The Companion Species Manifesto,
and Staying with The Trouble, with reference to many Haraway publications
and interviews. Particularly in the context of these texts, slogans and critics,
discussion on human-nature connectedness and its transformation with the
advanced technology, will be evaluated in an effort to find an ethical/political
ground.

HARAWAY’İN YOLDAŞ TÜRLERİ ve AĞ ÖREN ANLATILAR

Year 2018, Volume: 13 Issue: 26, 27 - 46, 29.12.2018

Abstract

Gelmekte olan fakat
henüz açıklıkla gösterilemeyeni, ifade edilebilir hale getirmek önemlidir.
Özellikle de konuya ilişkin sessizliği dağıtarak tartışmanın hattını belirleyen
ilk ifadeler, saptamalar, sınırlamalar daha da önemlidir. Bu çalışma da, makro
ve mikro düzeyde teknolojiyle kuşatılan dünyada, gelmekte olana dair sessizliği
bozan düşünürlerden biri olan Donna Haraway’in görüşlerini değerlendirmeye
yöneliktir. Bu bakımdan, çalışma, Haraway’in pek çok yayınına ve söyleşisine
başvurarak hazırlanmış olmakla birlikte, ağırlıkla Siborg Manifestosu, Yoldaş
Türler Manifestosu ve 2016’da yayınlanan Staying with The Trouble kitabında yer
