HEGEL'DE DEVLET YE ÖZGÜRLÜK İLİŞKİSİ

Year 2007, Issue: 3, 125 - 144, 15.05.2007

Abstract

The Relation Between State and Freedom in Hegel

Year 2007, Issue: 3, 125 - 144, 15.05.2007

Abstract

Freedom is one of the most expressed demand by the individuals whose actions are limited by the requirements, necessities or expectations of society and, especially, of the state. This situation generally originates from the fact that individuals confuses "arbitrariness" with "freedom ". Because of the structure and characteristics of free actions which must accord with and limited by rationality, the principle "To do what I want" is not same as with -or even a mode of-freedom.
In this article it is tried to be exposed Hegel's view of freedom which is related and thought by him as undistinguishable with the necessities of the laws of state. For this aim, his thoughts on the relation between individual, society and the state is tried to be analysed and set forth.
