Abstract
In this study, Turkish Sports Federations needs of change and some practices about change were evaluated in the frame of organizational change concept. Organizations, as products of their enviroment, under continous change of enviromental conditions, have to adapt themselves in to these conditions. As every social organizations, change effects sports organizations either.
Because of central structure of sport management organizations in Turkey needs of change is mentioned frequently . Change is inevitable, especially, for effective and productive works of Sports Federations which are parts of this structure. Because, Sports Federations are undertaken some missions likes, to answer sports expectations of people, to organize national and international level sports organizations and to arrange competitive sport.
When the some structural changes were evaluated in Turkish Sports Federations, tendency to autonomy is clearly appeared. But, in this autonomy process developmental level and needs of quality personnels of sports federations should be noticed.
