Abstract

Abstract
Operational risk management has an importance in every field today, but also it has a particular importance in the maritime sector, which takes great place in global trade. This article focuses on loading and unloading operations at ports, which are an important part of the maritime operational process, and risk analysis of the construction machinery used in these operations. Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) was used for safety assessment. In this context, the potential risks of these machines used in ports were analysed and how these risks and effects could be reduced were evaluated.
