Abstract
Social media has been a part of entrepreneurship. In this article, the social media influencer heuristic review and its application within an entrepreneurship project in a lecture is introduced. 31 students who took the entrepreneurship course participated in a two-stage project. In the first stage, students were asked to conduct interviews on their interests, and in the second stage, they were asked to open a social media account and upload content for 10 days. A heuristic review form -development, purpose, realistic, storytelling- was developed by scanning the existing literature. Afterwards, the form was filled by his friends, and the progress of the student-entrepreneur- according to the criticism was followed. The study offered the opportunity to learn about the hobbies and curiosities of the students. This project assignment has been an important factor in understanding the use of social media in entrepreneurship classes. There have been issues that have made progress and those that have not. Students made progress in development and realistic, but they could not reach the desired stage in reflecting on their goals and storytelling. The quality of the education that the student body of the project assignment carried out received in the past and their socio-economic environment were also factors. Students' inexperience in preparing projects and not having enough knowledge of entrepreneurship and social media are also deficiencies.
