In this research, it was aimed to show the opinions of the teachers working in the combined class on the applicability of the theory of multiple intelligences and whether these opinions differ according to various variables. The mixed research method used in this research which quantitative and qualitative research methods were used together and the opinions of the teachers working in the combined classes on the applicability of multiple intelligence theory were determined. The research group of the study has formed 80 teachers selected from 179 teachers working in primary schools in Tokat province in 2014-2015 by simple unselected sampling. The scale developed by Canbay (2006) was used in the study. In addition to this likert type scale consisting of 38 items, six open-ended questions were also used to determine teacher opinions on the applicability of multiple intelligence theory. Quantitative data were analyzed using Spss packet program, t test, one way variance analysis statistics were used, and qualitative data was analyzed by content analysis. As a result of the analyzes, the opinions of the combined classroom teachers on the applicability of the theory of multiple intelligences were positive. However, in the analysis of qualitative data, they pointed out that the deficiencies and limitations of the combined class schools should be overcome in order to better benefit from the practice of multiple intelligence theorists.
