Pink Lady Elma Çeşidinde Hasat Sonrası 1- Methylcyclopropene Uygulaması ve Dinamik Atmosferde Depolamanın Uzun Dönem Depolamada Kaliteye Olan Etkileri

Abstract

Çalışmada; Pink Lady elma çeşidi meyvelerinde farklı depolama sistemlerinin ve hasat sonrası 1-MCP uygulamasının depolama boyunca kalite özelliklerine etkileri incelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda Pink Lady elma çeşidine ait meyvelerde dinamik kontrollü atmosfer (DKA)’ de depolama sistemi, hasat sonrası normal depoda 1-Methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) uygulaması ve bu uygulamanın DKA ile olan kombinasyonu uygulanmıştır. Bu uygulamalar ile herhangi bir uygulamaya tabi tutulmayıp normal soğuk depoda muhafaza edilen kontrol meyveleri 0-1°C sıcaklık ve %90-95 oransal nem koşullarında sırasıyla 60, 120, 180 ve 240 gün süreyle depolanmıştır. Depolamanın başlangıcında ve her depolama döneminden sonra meyvelerde; et rengi değişimi, meyve eti sertliği (MES), suda çözünebilir kuru madde (SÇKM) miktarı, titre edilebilir asitlik (TEA), toplam fenolik bileşik içeriği ve çürüme oranı gibi bazı kalite özellikleri incelenmiştir.
Bulgularımıza göre; muhafaza süresi, incelenen kalite parametreleri üzerinde etkili olmuş, depolama süresinin uzaması kalite kayıplarını beraberinde getirmiştir. Bunun yanında; depolama süresince kalitenin korunduğu meyveler dinamik kontrollü atmosferde depolanan ve 1- Methylcyclopropene uygulamasına tabi tutulanlar olmuşlardır. Bunu normal atmosfer koşullarında 1- Methylcyclopropene uygulaması izlemiştir.
