Organ Bağışına Yönelik Öğrenci Tutumları: Hemşirelik

Abstract

Bu çalışma, hemşirelik öğrencilerinin organ bağışı konusundaki görüş ve
tutumlarını incelemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir.   

Araştırma
tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel araştırma tasarımına uygun olarak yapılmıştır. Bu
araştırmanın örneklemini, bir hemşirelik fakültesinde 2017-2018 öğretim yılında
öğrenim gören 2., 3. ve 4. sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama aracı
olarak “Organ Bağışı Tutum Ölçeği” ve “Organ Bağışı Anketi” kullanılmıştır. Tanımlayıcı
istatistiksel yöntemler, tek yönlü varyans analizi ANOVA, korelasyon ve t-testi
analizleri kullanılmıştır.

Öğrencilerin organ
bağışı pozitif tutum puan ortalamasının 103,85±13,83,  “Tıbbi olarak ihmal edilme korkusu” ve
“Bedensel yaralanma korkusu” puan ortalamalarının sırasıyla 22,37±9,12 ve 23,70±9,78
olduğu bulunmuştur. Sınıflara göre “Tıbbi olarak
ihmal edilme korkusu” alt boyutunda istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık
bulunmuştur. Yaş ve organ bağışı tutum ölçeği “Tıbbi
olarak ihmal edilme korkusu” alt boyutunda pozitif yönde zayıf düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu bulunmuştur.
Kız öğrencilerin organ bağışı negatif tutum puan ortalamasının erkek
öğrencilerden anlamlı düzeyde düşük olduğu saptanmıştır.

Hemşirelik
öğrencilerinin organ bağışına karşı pozitif tutumları yüksek iken negatif
tutumlarının düşük olduğu bulunmuştur. Öğrencilerin organ bağışında bulunmak
istediği ancak organ bağışı kartı bulunma düzeyinin düşük olduğu
belirlenmiştir. Hemşirelik öğrencilerinde organ bağışı tutumunu ve organ bağışı
kartı edinme davranışını arttırıcı girişimsel çalışmalara gereksinim vardır.
