Türkiye’nin Batısında Bir Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesinde Çalışan Hemşirelerin Araştırma Kullanım Engelleri

Abstract

Giriş: Bu araştırma, bir eğitim ve araştırma hastanesinde çalışan hemşirelerin araştırma kullanım engelleri ve etkileyen faktörlerin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır.
Yöntem: Kesitsel tipteki araştırma 2015 yılında, bir hastanede, 224 hemşire üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri “Tanımlayıcı Özellikler Formu” ve “Hemşirelik Araştırmalarından Yararlanmada Engeller Ölçeği” ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler, Kolmogorov Smirnov testi, t-testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) kullanılmıştır.
Bulgular: Hemşirelerin yaş ortalaması 37.31±6.71’dır. Bu çalışmada Araştırma Kullanım Engelleri Ölçeği puan ortalamasının 2.82±0.64, en yüksek puan ortalamasının “kurum/çalışma ortamı” (3,05±0,75) alt boyutundan alındığı tespit edilmiştir. Bunu “hemşirelerin araştırma değerleri, becerileri ve farkındalığı” (2.79± 0.77), “araştırma özellikleri” (2.69±0.76) ve “araştırma sonuçlarının sunumu” (2.69±0.88) izlemiştir. Hemşirelik araştırmalarından yararlanmada engeller ölçeği toplam puan ortalamasının 2.82±0.64 olduğu; ölçek alt boyutlarından en yüksek puan ortalamasının kurum/çalışma ortamı (3.05±0.75) alt boyutundan alındığı saptanmıştır. Araştırma projelerine katılmayı isteyen hemşirelerin engel algısının düşük olduğu ve bu farkın istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olduğu belirlenmiştir (p<0.05). Diğer bağımsız değişkenlere göre, ölçek puan ortalamasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark saptanmamıştır (p>0.05).
Sonuç: Çalışmada, hemşireler tarafından araştırma sonuçlarının kullanımına yönelik algılanan engelin yüksek ve daha çok kurumsal faktörlerle ilgili olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu sonuçlar doğrultusunda, araştırma sonuçlarının eğitim ve araştırma hastanelerinde uygulamada kullanımını artırmak için kurumsal düzenlemelerin yapılması gerektiği söylenebilir.
