It is known that many experimenters use the techniques of orthogonal
arrays, linear graphs and triangular tables developed by Taguchi, in
the design of $2^k$ factorials and fractional factorial experiments. In this
paper a connection between the linear graph method and graph theory is investigated. The use of orthogonal arrays, linear graphs, and
triangular tables in the design of experiments is explained using an
example.
