Social work research not only feeds the social work literature but also provides important knowledge and skills that contribute to practice. In this research, it was aimed to measure the self-efficacy and research anxiety of social work undergraduate 4th year and graduate students regarding the method part of the research The research was carried out with a relational design, and the answers of 190 students participating in the research were analyzed. The anxiety of undergraduate and graduate students was found more than PhD students. However, the anxiety levels of graduate students were very close to those of undergraduate students, and their self-efficacy levels were found to be lower than those of undergraduate students. The findings reveal some requirements for the revision of education programs, especially the master's program. In the information age we live in, social work students are expected to carry out research on social problems by using the technological possibilities of the age, and to develop and strengthen the scientific basis of the profession by contributing to practice and theory with the information they have obtained as a result of research.
