Abstract
Yer yüzünün güçlü titreşimlerini incelenme ve analizi yapı mühendisliği (yapı
davranış analizi) ve deprem mühendisliği ( zemin davranış analizi) iki
mühendislik dalında önem taşımaktadır. Bu araştırmada faya yakın olan
depremler söz konusudur. Genel olarak 15 km den yakın olan depremler faya
yakın ve 15 km den uzak olan depremler faydan uzak depremler denilir. Faya
yakın depremler daha yüksek frekans ve daha yüksek ivmeye sahiplerdir. Faya
yakın depremler de etken süresi daha az ama daha etkilidir. Şundan dolayı rijit
yapılar için daha esnek yapılar tasarlamak gerekmektedir.
