Depresyonun Bağlamsal Performans Üzerine Etkisinde İşyerinde Mutluluğun Aracılık Rolü

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, çalışanların sahip olduğu depresyonun bağlamsal performans ve iş doyumu üzerinde etkisinde işyerinde mutluluğun aracılık rolünü tespit etmektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini Aksaray ve Kayseri illerinde bulunan Sivil Toplum Kuruluşlarında çalışan 107 beyaz yakalı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilere ait değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiler, korelasyon ve hiyerarşik regresyon analizi ile incelenmiştir. Araştırmada aracılık testi için Bootstrap metodu uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular sonucunda, Depresyon ve işyerinde mutluluk arasında negatif yönlü bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Diğer yandan işyerinde mutluluk, bağlamsal performans ve iş doyumu ile pozitif yönlü ilişki içerisindedir. Aracılık testi sonuçları incelendiğinde, işyerinde mutluluğun depresyon ve bağlamsal performans arasında kısmen aracılık ettiği görülmektedir. Depresyon ve iş doyumu arasındaki ilişkide ise işyerinde mutluluğun tamamen aracılık ettiği tespit edilmiştir. Bu bulgular çalışanların sahip olduğu depresyonun işyerinde mutsuzluk yaratarak gerek iş doyumlarını gerekse bağlamsal performanslarını etkileyebileceğini göstermektedir.
