Bankacılık Sektöründe Çalışanların Motivasyonu Ve İş Tatmini Üzerine Bir Araştırma: İstanbul Avrupa Bölgesi Özel Bankalar Örneği

Abstract
Özet: Çalışanların motivasyonu ve iş tatmini, bir organizasyonun başarısı için kritik öneme sahiptir. Bu çalışma, bankacılık sektöründe çalışanların motivasyonları ve iş tatmini arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Aynı zamanda demografik unsurların da motivasyon ve iş tatmini arasındaki ilişki incelenmektedir. Motivasyonu ve tatmin düzeyi yüksek olan çalışanlar, işlerine daha fazla bağlılık göstermekte, buna bağlı olarak daha yüksek bir performans sergilemekte ve genel olarak işyerinde olumlu bir atmosfer oluşturmaktadırlar. Araştırmaya İstanbul Avrupa Bölgesi’nde özel bankalarda çalışan gönüllü 221 bankacı katılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, içsel motivasyon ve dışsal motivasyonun iş tatmini ile arasında bir ilişkinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Buna göre banka çalışanlarının içsel ve dışsal motivasyonları arttıkça iş tatminin de arttığı görülmektedir. Sonuç olarak, bu bulgular banka çalışanlarının motivasyon düzeyleri ile iş tatmini arasında güçlü ve olumlu bir ilişkinin olduğunu göstermektedir.

İstanbul Nişantaşı Üniversitesi , Etik Kurulu Başkanlığına 15.11.2023 tarihinde incelemek üzere başvurmuş olduğunuz '' Bankacılık Sektörğnde Çalışanların Motivasyone ve İş Tatmini '' başlıklı çalışmanız 04.01.2024 tarihli 2024/01 numaralı etik kurul toplantısında değerlendirilmiştir. Kurulumuz tarafındab yapacağınız araştırmanın etik açıdan uygunluğuna oy birliği ile karar verilmiştir.

Abstract
Abstract: Employee motivation and job satisfaction are critical to the success of an organization. This study aims to determine the relationship between employee motivation and job satisfaction in the banking sector. It also examines the relationship between demographic factors and motivation and job satisfaction. Employees with high levels of motivation and job satisfaction show more commitment to their jobs, exhibit a higher performance and create a positive atmosphere in the workplace in general. A total of 221 volunteer bankers working in private banks in the European Region of Istanbul participated in the study. According to the results of the research, it was found that there is a relationship between intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation and job satisfaction. Accordingly, as intrinsic and extrinsic motivation of bank employees increases, job satisfaction also increases. As a result, these findings show that there is a strong and positive relationship between bank employees' motivation levels and job satisfaction
