The aim of this study is to develop a scale that can be used to measure the awareness of sports science students about Paralympic sports. In this direction, reliability and validity studies were carried out for the construct and content validity of the scale. A pilot study was conducted for a group of 255 students studying in different departments in the field of Sport Sciences, with a question pool determined by expert opinions. According to the results of the exploratory factor analysis made with the SPSS 22 program; 2-factor model consisting of 24 items, with factor loading values varying between 0.693 and 0.939, with a variance explanation rate of 74.588%, was obtained. Croonbach's alpha coefficient was α= 0.966 for the 1st Factor, α= 0.969 for the 2nd Factor, and α= 0.958 for the whole scale. Accordingly, in the confirmatory factor analysis results using the AMOS 24 program, the suitability of the model was confirmed, except for the adjusted fit index value (p=0,000; X2/sd=2,59, RMSEA= 0,063; SRMR=0,031; NFI= 0,95; CFI=0,97 ve GIF= 0,91) NNFI=0,97 ve AGFI=0,851). In addition, Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient, unrelated t-test between the item mean scores of the lower-upper 27% groups of each item, and two-half test reliability (Spearman-Brown correlation value and Guttman Split-Half value) were calculated for reliability tests. After all the analyzes, it was concluded that the Paralympic Sports Awareness Scale can reliably measure the paralympic awareness of sports science students.
