Syrians, after the civil war, had to take shelter in other states. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of war on Syrian refugee children in Turkey and placed into current education system via primary school teachers’ views. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with primary school teachers who has Syrian refugee children in their classes. Content analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, was employed in the study. Thirteen teachers participated in the study stated that they do not know to what extent Syrian children in their classes were exposed to war. Ten teachers from the sample stated that refugee pupils’ psychologies were negatively influenced due to war. Five teachers stated that Syrian students experienced behavioral disorders as a result of war experiences. In addition, three teachers expressed that aforementioned negative influences decrease in time. Two participated teachers stated that the war wasn’t influential on Syrian students.
