Abstract
Kudüs şehri
Filistin-İsrail çatışmasının merkezinde yer alan en önemli konulardan
birisidir. Şehrin yasal statüsü ve geleceği 1948'de İsrail Devleti'nin
kurulmasından itibaren daha da karmaşık bir mesele haline gelmiştir. İsrail
Devleti 1948'den bu yana Kudüs'ü “ebedi başkent” olarak tanımlayarak kentin
egemenliği konusunda bir iktidar kurmuştur. Bu jeopolitik tahayyül zaman
içerisinde bir dış politika aracı olarak kullanılmış ve barış sürecinin
sağlıklı ilerleyememesine neden olmuştur. Bu çalışma Kudüs'ün İsrailli
siyasetçiler tarafından “ebedi başkent” olarak tahayyül edilmesinin Oslo Barış
Süreci'nde ne şekilde kullanıldığını analiz etmeyi amaçlamaktadır.

Abstract
The city of Jerusalem is one of the most important issues at the heart
of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The legal status and the future of the
city has been a complicated issue since the establishment of the State of
Israel in 1948. Since 1948, the State of Israel has defined Jerusalem as an
“eternal capital” and established a power over the sovereignty of the city.
This geopolitical imagination was used as a foreign policy tool in time and
caused the peace process to fail. This paper aims to analyze how the
imagination of Jerusalem as the “eternal capital” by Israeli politicians is
used in the Oslo Peace Process.
