Abstract
Mesut Kaya, Taberî Tefsiri’nin Kaynakları adlı kitabında Taberî'nin tefsirinde müracaat ettiği kaynakları tespit etmekte ve bu kaynakları detaylı bir değerlendirmeye tabi tutmaktadır. Ayrıca yazar okuyucuya erken dönem tefsir birikimine dair zengin bir içerik sunmaktadır. Kitapta Taberî’nin günümüze ulaşmayan ilk dönem tefsirlerinden yaptığı nakiller incelenmektedir. Böylece elimizde olmayan tefsir kaynaklarının tespiti ve değerlendirilmesine ilişkin orijinal bilgiler paylaşılmaktadır. Dolayısıyla bu kitap, izlediği metod, kapsamlı içeriği ve sonuçları bakımından literatüre önemli bir katkı sağlamaktadır. Tüm bu hususlar çalışmanın alan için sahip olduğu önemi göstermektedir. Bu değerlendirmede, Kaya’nın Taberî Tefsiri’nin Kaynakları isimli çalışması yöntem ve içerik olarak ele alınmış, yazarın özgün yorumları ve ulaştığı sonuçlar incelenmiştir.

Abstract
In his book titled Taberî Tefsiri’nin Kaynakları, Mesut Kaya determines the sources that Tabari refers to in his tafsir and assesses these sources comprehensively. In addition, the author provides the reader a rich content about the early period of tafsir. In the book, the transmissions of Tabari from the first period commentaries that have not survived to the present day have been examined. Thus, original information about the identification and evaluation of tafsir sources that we do not have is shared. Therefore, this book has made a significant contribution to the literature in terms of its method, comprehensive content, and findings. All of these show the importance of the book for the field. In this review, Kaya's work titled Taberî Tefsiri’nin Kaynakları was examined in terms of its method and content, and the author's original interpretations and research findings were analysed.
