Öz: Arap kültür ortamında oluşan gelişen sınıfsal kavramlardan biri
“cemerâtu’l-Arab” yani Arap cemreleri ifadesidir. Bu kavram bütün tarihinde
başka kabilelerle ittifak yapmaksızın kendisine yönelen tehditlere
karşı koyan ve kendisini tek başına koruyabilen kabileleri ifade eder. Bu
kabileler Benû Dabbe b. Udd, Benû Numeyr b. Âmir ve Benu’l-Hâris b.
Ka‘b olarak belirlenmiştir. Kavram tarifindeki farklılıklar dolayısıyla bunlara
Benû Abs b. Bagîd ve Benu Yerbû b. Hanzala kabilelerinin eklendiği
de olmuştur. Müstakillik şartının kurulan ittifaklarla bozulmasıyla Benû
Numeyr dışındaki kabilelerin cemre olma özelliği kaldırılmıştır.
Anahtar Kelimeler: Arap cemreleri, güçlü Arap kabileleri, Benû Dabbe,
Benû Numeyr, Benu’l-Hâris b. Ka‘b.
Abstract: “Cemerât” is plural for “cemret” in Arabic, meaning a mass
of fire and the term “cemerât al-arab” stands for the strong tribes who never
allied with others even in very hard cases and tough battles and could make
their own fate, which is a very difficult case to reach for the tribes even
those large and strong ones. Thats is why among the thousands of the tribes
there are only three seems to have “cemret” character, and they are Benû
Dabbe b. Udd, Benû Numeyr b. Amir and Benû Haris b. Ka‘b tribes, first
two are of the Adnân branch and the last of Kahtan. And sometimes one
other Benû Abs b. Bagîd is added by the ancient cultural scholars, which
seems to be caused from that touhg battle between this and a crowd alliance
of the Kays b. Aylan tribes. And also one more Benû Yerbû b. Hanzala a
large branch of Temîm tribe ise added to the “cemerât”, which does not
seems to be a spread idea in general.
Keywords: Cemerat al-arab, strong ancient Arabic tribes, Benu Dabbe,
Benu Numeyr, Benu al-Haris b. Ka‘b.
