Abstract
Subkutan yağ dokusu nekrozu (SKYN), term infantlarda genellikle doğum asfiksisi sonrası hipotermi tedavisi sonrası görülen, adipoz dokunun inflamatuar bozukluğu olan nadir bir pannikülit şeklidir. Preterm bebeklerde de predispozan risk faktörleri (doğum asfiksi, gebelik diyabeti vb.) ile birlikte görülebilir. Hastalık, yaşamın ilk haftalarında gelişen, akut, benign, kendi kendini sınırlayan bir pannikülittir. Herhangi bir müdahale olmadan haftalar veya aylar içinde kendiliğinden düzelebilir, ancak potansiyel komplikasyonları da olabilir. Biz burada, hipotermi tedavisi sonrası yaşamının 8. gününde, sırtında ve omuzlarında generalize multiform eritematöz döküntü ve soluk plaklar ile subkutan yağ nekrozu gelişen ve komplikasyonsuz olarak normokalsemi ile takip edilen bir yenidoğan vakasını sunuyoruz. Hipotermi protokollerinin SKYN gelişimi için risk artışına neden olabilmektedir. Klinisyenler bu komplikasyonun farkında olmalı ve cilt remisyonundan sonra bile, hiperkalsemi riski nedeniyle dikkatli olmalıdır.
