Abstract

Sağlık verilerinin geleneksel değerlendirme yöntemleri tedavinin sağlık durumu üzerine etkilerini ölçmede tam anlamıyla
yeterli değildir. Hasta memnuniyeti ve hastanın sağlığa bağlı yaşam kalitesi ile ilgili görüşü tedavi açısından giderek önem
kazanmaktadır. Bu durum, ölçüm yapacak araçların geliştirilmesini sağlamıştır. Tıbbın diğer disiplinlerinde olduğu gibi diş
hekimliğinde de hastalığın objektif ölçütleri, ağız rahatsızlıklarının günlük yaşam ve yaşam kalitesi hakkında fikir
vermektedir. Bu çalışma da ağız sağlığının, yaşam kalitesi değerlendirme metotları ile ilgili literatürlerin bir derlemesidir ve
gelecekte yapılacak çalışmalara ışık tutacaktır.
